metal mule
not that much noise inside my helmet after I got the metal-mule windscreen.
I got a discount on the shipping, it was initially more expensive then the windscreen itself. Delivered on door with DHL. I can see on the windscreen that it is a little more "bendt" out on the top then the orignal. Probably to route the wind and turbulence away from the driver. Have only driven a few short trips with it but so far happy. I was suprised how much better the bike was to drive without all that noise and head shaking. Personaly I think it looks good, better then the original windscreen. I got the tinted. Suits the black Tenere fine With the original windscreen the turbulence and noice was changing from almost silence to terrible. Have not experienced so big changes on any bike before. |
is the wind/bird/vermin comb flexible ?
the only stuff i can find is hard plastic and I dont see how I can stick this to the tank ! |
bird comb
Stu,
I got mine from ebay, it was being sold individually then. Ive stuck mine on using sticky double sided outdoor pads. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-EAVES-BIRD-C...item3ef54c44e7 Ian |

It was a few mm thick and cut for the forks. I'll see if i can upload a picture. http://majland.org/temp/leo.airshield.png Number 4 in the picture. Note that the rubber fits the fork when going straight but will be more untight when cornering |
