Bridgestone TW301/302
Anyone tried these?
http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/produ...ing/index.html I'm doing 80-90% of all my riding on-road (daily commuting), but do like to get off-road on my way home or on a sunday morning outing. I manage all right with the Tourance but they're no use in off-road wet conditions (mud, grass, clay, loam) and/or loose sand. Would be nice if these Bridgestone do as they promise: more grip in off-road conditions without compromising (too much) on-road performance. HJ |
Looks great!!!

They do look like a good comprimise, the tread pattern is similar to the cheng shins I used on my TTR to get to Morocco and back, they seemed to cope with everything, Sand,Snow,Dirt Mud etc I even had some good fun on a mx track when I got home, they were predictable on the road and you could get the back to slide on mountain hairpins.
I have also found the standard tyres limiting in anything but dry off road conditions. Now I wonder if cheng shin do a Tenere sized set ??? |
But aren't these Bridgestones too knobbish? That means would not be good for too long on asphalt, and definitely won't last at all on highway?

I saw a pair of these on a new WR250F last week - I do loads of green lane stuff, and I did think these might be a good move away from the Enduro Comp 3's as I only get 900 - 1000 miles per set...

There's a guy on a Dutch forum who sais they are available in 17" and has put them on. He likes them a lot but I wondered how long they would last when you use them on-road often.
