I ordered an OTR white high fender.
It's on his way right now. I'll post some pictures next week, when I've installed it. I also ordered a Metal mule radiator protection to replace the plastic one. Because I like the gravel roads here... And in combination with my next tyres; the TKC 80... :crybaby: I will replace the original fender before "planned" off-road trips by the high fender and maybe during rainy days by the original for every day work-home use. Keeps me also some time busy and away from pubs and girly tv-shows... ; ) |

Mudcrawler just to clarify your front fender is a UFO standard sm front fender ?
I will source one out on the web |
I like it like that
When the first pics of the Tenere were released i just thought it looked like Yamaha had missed something off the bike where the high fender now sits |

By mounting it, I had to put a washer on the rear screwes to angle it up a bit, Otherwise it touched the radiator gitter. //MC |
Thanks like the rear fender mod too your bike is looking to be a stealthy dakar beast, like the leo vinces too.

Cotthem and Mudcrawler, I might have asked this somewhere: does your fender block the radiator in any way?
Mudcrawler, it looks like it does from your pic, correct? Then you notice the difference in operating oil temperature? Also, what pipe you've got? Is it a single can? I personally like yours, because it's short and it looks very Mad-Max to me :) They come in white? |
