As requested, here's a few pics of those Kappa crash bars I had fitted. Excuse the quality plz, they're taken on my mobile:

Nice pics.

I'm quite worried about the low bar mod as the 2 bars are holding each other and don't seem attached to the frame....isn't it a quite big risk of torsion there ?

otherwise, the yamaha low bar look great in black !

I see it looks that way in the photo but they are secured to the bike (very well actually). The lower part of the top crashbar is secured to the bike and the top part of yamaha lower bar is secured to it.
I had a small off a little while back and the bars worked really well in protecting the bike.

Don't take this the wrong way :icon_rolleyes: but aren't the crash bars just protecting the grey plastic crash protecters which are cheap to replace anyway. I can see the reason for the bottom one to protect the water pump etc or am I missing something :Knitting_22PFUP:

The likelyhood is all these crash bars are designed for visual protection, ie they look like they will save things in a crash but i doubt that they have been subject to detailed analysis of what happens when heavy forces are exerted on them, ie you've saved the tank/side panels/water pump but trashed the frame instead... (maybe just the cynic in me) .
So if you like the look of em fit em if not dont but be aware they may not do everything you'd wish them to .
Note JMos rubicon trail fall which bust the airbox cover. A stopper without some means of repair as to run the engine open would be foolhardy.
