Im putting everything on a list now to see if a kidney can cover all repairs :icon_cheers:

Sorry,it should have said 6 inner tubes, the 3 in the swingarm and 3 in the linkage

The tubes on the bike I was building were all damaged due to dry bearings. Part numbers 7(X2),13,20,26 and 28

I see, thanks for the info. Judging by how squeaky mine are they tubes are probably shot to hell. Im looking for a place to get them but so far only Yamaha has them, damn.

I also tried a local engineering company, but they said due to the tubes chrome like exterior, almost like Nikasil plating, they couldn't do it.

Had the exact same noise on my Tenere. It was the rod in the centre of the suspension. I used graphite spray and it stopped. In the end I bought a new rear suspension unit.

As a quick test I'd spray wd40 on your suspension rod only and see if it goes. If it doesn't, then spray each of the 3 suspension link bolts separately and see which one it is that stops squeaking. It might highlight which bearing is too dry, but allow the oil chance to soak in.

I cleaned the area as best as I could and used some wd. Squeaking stopped. It seems that the top left bearing is the issue. I'm trying to find the size of all the bearings so I can get them locally, and buy the inner tubes and the rest of the rubber stuff from Yamaha.

4 off TA1715Z needle bearing, below swingarm and central linkage.4+vat each.
2 off 17x24x15 (bearing place says TA1715Z again) needle bearing with no other numbers, rear off linkage. 4+vat each.
1 off TA1720z needle bearing,top linkage.4+vat
So I need 6 TA1715Z and 1 TA1720Z?

I got some offers from various shops but getting everything is around 250euros and thats insane.

I'm looking now at the wemoto kit. These are the top bearings, right? Part no. 2, 6 and 5?
