No. Thats the little drilling throttle tube thing isn't it? 'll look at that and I need to check a few other things, like the TPS settings, although I'm pretty impressed with the bike as it is...

Its worth doing ...and its free...

Well I did some adjustments. The CO1 reading was zero, so I set that to 15.

The TPS is set to 17. Would taking it back to say 15 smooth out throttle response even more?

The problem I have with the bike, is I commute on it and am often on and off the throttle or holding very small throttle openings at low speeds whilst filtering through traffic. At certain revs/times this is often results in a snatchy on/off throttle, or the bike just jerks back and forth. Shutting off or opening the throttle instantly cures this, but if I could dial it out some more it would be better, even if it means less low down power.

I have both Kev mods on mine and its smooth all the way...ask Kev himself for advice.

I have the kev mod on mine too. :) Just interested in what others have done to smooth the throttle on/off reaction. On SV650s the TPS setting was the answer to this. I'll play around with it when I find my anti tamper torx bits...

Kev does two different mods..TPS adjustment etc is on this site..have you joined the site?..access to Kev's mods/download
