If you are still in doubt Steve...buy the ROAD version, and also order a pair of the lighter springs when placing the order...Can't imagine them being too expensive.!!

I have three turns of compression on my V4S DIRT springs (9,5N/mm) which is equivalent to 28.5N/MM of pre-load, you would get similar results by using around 2.5 turns or slightly less on the ROAD springs, but your forks would still be slightly firmer than mine.

Thanks Pete. ...I agree. Joe's riding is much more off road orientated than me....mine is more 'Grey' lanes with occasional 'proper' off road. If only we had the 1000k trails that Seahorse and Desert Racer and Dual enjoy on there doorstep! Hopefully when I get back Joe and I will do a joint order to Teknik. Steve
