New owner, hello! Also, need a bit of help!

Hi all, I recently just bought myself a xt660x, 2009 plate, 13000 miles! I have been looking at doing a tail tidy on it, but can't seem to find anything for it? Can anyone give me any help?

:hello: and :welcome: to :660:

In regards to tail tidy there isn't a single comapny which make a bespoke tail tidy for the X the R nor the Z

All the tail tidies we've seen here have all been custom made by the individual owners, some were tidy some were a butchered mess.

Six years ago we had a forum member that owned a workshop and a few jigs and he was making some which were very nice but after he sold the bike and ... moved on, he stopped making them. They were very popular but now there's no one else making them as far as we know.

I have one fitted to my Z but they also do one for the X. It's not easy to fit (manual is sh&t), but good quality.

What light do you use in this? As it is only a frame that they sell?

Have you used this before? What is the case for the indicators? Do you buy them separately?

Also, I haven't yet rode the bike, as my test is on Friday, what should I expect?
