Nice work mate great job, the DNA stage 3 does run a larger intake hose to the throttle body, the ID of the DNA hose is the same size OD of the OEM hose.

Very nice job!
How would you describe the power difference, and fuel consumption?
What K&N filter are you using?

after so many static tests with prototypes simulation the best filter is k&n rc3870. is the most largest/long possible.
there is a very good difference in power. especially in 2gear very easy wheelie only full trotthle! considering that I am very fat. weight 100kg whitout bike clothing, see video.
I consider that this change is the best solution for goodmore power and big torque at lower cost.
fuel consumption change only whit full trotthle.

I'm planning to do also trotthle body + 2mm but with the original engine and the stage3 not know if I will have improved power. maybe someone could answer me.

It is already a little 'cut

It had not expanded since the outside diameter of the black tube (It was in the works and test)

It depends on which filter you want to use. It considers that the collector is not straight but slightly uphill

Anon 18-08-15 23:08

Hello I just starting to buy all the parts needed I'm a little confused do I need the reducer to 50mm

Are your measurements on the standard pipe inside or outside diameter

I was reading through and the way i believed it to be was the standard was 50mm and you had 75mm reduced was it reduced to fit inside or outside of the standard pipe

Could you please wire a full description on how you did it as in ordering everything tomorrow PAY DAY 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

outside. the conduit original must absolutely not be restricted in any way
semi original reducer (cutted)
http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04...e4d8e35844.jpg

the reducer 50mm needed this to be worked to get us into the conduit original. the hole is 56mm diameter without the 4 stabilizers.
56mm is outside diameter of standar collector.

I've had the perspex guy at work do me a prototype side for the box, only a first attempt to see if he's got all the fixings holes in right place but hopefully I'll get mk2 done in 8mm perspex with some holes in it to help with breathing !! Just deciding on either clear or smoked

is good solution for more airflow.
when the bike is mounted color to that place you can not see, so it's pretty much the same.
the only important thing is the attachment to the frame. It must be very solid. holds the battery and vibration.
is the screw to the right with 3 plastic reinforcements like pyramid.

Hello sorry for the late reply I did not use the 15 degree Bend

Also the box is for sale aswell as I'm part exchanging the bike on Wednesday I would be willing to take part exchange on your old box I'm in Southampton, England give me a message I'll get back to you as soon as

Shaolinfist 11-04-17 23:37

Can anyone help me with the parts needed to connect the main filter to the throttle body pipe? I have rang all the local plumbing and building suppliers and none of them have 75mm pvc pipe with a 15 degree bend. Also do I need a 50mm to 75mm reducer?
Any help much appreciated.

Shaolinfist 12-04-17 18:10

I have almost finished carving up this airbox, it isn't pretty but it will do. I have all the filters ready to go just not sure about how to go about connecting the main filter to the throttle body pipe if anyone could offer assistance.

you have to go to a store that sells plastic pipes for construction of the bath. under the floor. and garden costruction.
