TO an extent yes, if you've ridden a Superduke you'll know the same sensations.... you end up riding a slightly different gear/rpm, as it's more an RPM that effects it rather than just the actual speed.

I still get a fraction of it on my fully sorted 2010, 30mph is a LOT nicer in 3rd gear than 2nd.. even though the engine is labouring a little, it's a lot smoother..

But I'm rarely riding at 30 :)
