Maybe this http://retroraid.wordpress.com/xt-66...re/xt660z-cfk/ is something for your tenere. Carbon sidecovers.

This carbon sidecovers look great!!
But I'm would like to ride withot worrying to damage such nice parts.
I prefer the OEM covers because thy are cheap and if they are sctatched they can be painted or covered with sickers .

Thanks!

We are just starting the design and we don't know yet.
We are trying to have something that could cover the OEM stickers and mach at least with white, black and grey bikes (blue is more difficult).
If we ca do this you can avoid to paint the bike and use the stickers instead.

No idea about the price yet. The factory needs to know how big they are.

I will tell you about the progress but you can have an idea looking to my previous ST1200: https://plus.google.com/photos/10782...905?banner=pwa

Cheers!

BIG news!!

The 660 project is entering a new dimension. Off the Road (OTR), the German manufacturer / distributor of accessories for motorcycle is going to help me improve a lot the 660.

OTR has a lot of experience in the XT660Z. They have also done preparations to participate in races. Thanks to them, the bike’s development will be much more effective and fast, and I can learn from their experience to avoid mistakes.

Their help allows me to go a lot further in the mods than I could have ever dreamed.

I love how easy it’s been to reach a deal with them; despite the distance and language they were immediately enthusiastic about the project and they have offered their advice at any time.

I think the Yamaha-Ausi -OTR combination will be the bomb!

Here you have a picture of the changes I’m expecting to do on the bike… but time will tell if we have to do something more to it…

I’m so happy!

You are right. This is only a photoshop, the white lines you see aren't real. They are to simulate shine.

Let's see wat the designer does...

Cheers!
