howdy, Ive just ordered some of these, obviously I'll have to lower the gear & brake levers as well. I know the gear lever is on a spline , is the brake lever on a spline as well ??

No it's not. You'll have to lower it with the adjuster/lock nut. However, you'll find you can only lower it a few millimetres though. To get it any lower you need to take the linkage off and fit two thinner nuts or grind down the two nuts to half their thickness.

I was in the Yam dealer the other day and had a look at a 660 and 1200 Ten side-by-side and came up with the bright idea of getting SuperTen footpegs on my 660..

Waiting to hear back from Yam if they will fit.

I think they're going to try some experiments in the dealership :D

Sorry to revive an old thread but I've just got these and am having trouble fitting them. Seems I have to use a lot of force to get the holes lined up, and in doing this the spring moves off centre and I can't get the pin back through.

Am I missing something or should I just push harder?

Never mind, got them in by first assembling the pegs, this gave me more to hold when lining up the spring and holes.
