Hand Guards
Hey all,
I've have me Tenere for four or five weeks now, and I have to say I'm loving it more with each ride. I'm only commuting to work each day at the moment, plus the odd trundle to the coast with t'missus on the back. So far I've fitted a scottoiler, centre stand and a 'fenda extenda'. For my winter commute, I want to fit some hand guards to keep the wind off. Do any of you folk have a recommendation for which ones to get? Cheers all! |
Acerbis multiplo T ,best on the market and i have crash tested them :blob8:

coolio, thanks. Are they simple enough to fit? I read a review of some guards somewhere (can't remember where, terrible memory!) that required cutting the end of the clutch lever to fit - not sure I fancy doing that ...

The Yamaha ones are well cool. I have not crash tested them yet because I don't. lol

ktm hand guards work fine as well , they are not too expensive , and are very crash proof ...

...............and you don't have to be an engineer to fit them, or do away with bar ends..............and they are considerably cheaper.:box: |
Personally I think the barkbusters, which are a specific fitment for the tenere are the best on the market. No modifying , straight fit, very strong and replaceable plastics.

Thanks all! Certainly some options to look at ... !
