i've been told by people following me if i got off seat a bit and stuck me leg out me knee would go down!! hope its nice 2mora am very tempted to try it!!!!!!!

I dont actually have an XT660, but do have an Apilia Pegaso Strada (same motor) and have been running an MZ Baghira 660 street moto (older design 660 Yam motor) for 5 years.
The MZ has been run on a varyity of tyres, and the best front to date has been an Avon Pro extreme rains. They seem to last about 5-6000 miles. I have tried the Distanza front and it didnt inspire as much confidence (if any one local to me wants to try the distanza front then they can have it for �30, its done about 200 miles)
On the rear the best has been a Maxxis Goldspeed cut slick, but I havent tried it in the wet yet.
I have used Distanza rears and can comment that they give really good grip and handling performance. They also handle gentle offf orad work to. Providing they stay together (several have tried to `peel' at the splice or join) they seem to last about 3500 miles.
I did try a pro extreme rain on the rear, but it only lasted 958 miles : (but did grip really well).
BTW the distanza rears are still available as my son had one fitted to his motard today (09/06/07)

Hey people got the new Avon Distanzia (160?60R17 (69H) . Just wanted to ask, it says "rear tubeless" will this be ok to go onto the XTX rim??. Cant wait to get out on the bike with all this Sunny weather up here north.:HappyRoll_ANPIUI:

All the tyres supplied to these bike say tubeless but whilst they fit ok on the XT rims, they'll still need a tube in them otherwise air will leak through the spokes joints.

there absalutly fine, even though they say tubeless the tube stays in there
on me 2nd rear, enjoy u will!

Just got my rear Distanzia from Busters today in the post YIPPPEEEEE! Cant wait to get it on the bike Saturday. I can finally get the Michelin off.

When i first got my bike the pirelli dragon tyres had had it.
Not knowing any differant , i thought it best to stick with pirelli.
Ive got diablos on back and front. Front looks fine as does the rear.
Surely you can only judge 1 tyre from another by pushing them to there limit.
How can you tell.?
Some tyres do look better than others but for me, grip is everything. I dont do many miles and all dry. Have i made the wrong choice.
If so, does anyone want to buy em.
