XTX - Easy E : 19924km

I've searched this forum regarding mileage information of member's bikes, but haven't found any. So I decided to start this thread.

Please post your current mileage as I've done for my bike above. Please copy and create a continous list. Just curious about your numbers, and also interested in finding out how much I can expect to get out of my bike, as I'm doing 15,000 a year.

current is 8,941miles, in 11 months. my usual is about 10,000 a year.

XTZ - 26,100 ish miles and rising at about 12-14k a year.


Bike was registered in March '09, had 2,866 miles on it when I bought it in Jan 10 :D.

XTR- 6,100 fun miles in my first year..:toothy12:

This is a great idea and a bit of fun I know, but are you counting gross total mileage, or annual mileage on on average, say.?

If on an Annual average basis, Robbi would not be leading......

if you want the total highest mileage, a guy in Brasil, who's name escapes me, would be winning this I am sure! He has done over 100,000 mls, on rough looking roads too :- amazing!

My '93 Tenere had done 40,000 miles when I sold it (it had become surplus to requirements). It never let me down and was still going strong.

Just counting gross total mileage from current bikes of current members. I think it'll get too confusing if we add annual average. maybe that's something for a new thread...

And as you say, just a fun idea. But I'm interested in all mileages not just the higher ones. This hopefully will be a dynamic thread. which will keep changing and being updated over a longer period...

XT miles
 

Bought my 660R for a trans canada trip (from adventure boy of this parish),
Toured Canada and USA (including Labrador Highway) 15,000 miles in 7 weeks, no problems, no punctures, just oil+filters, chain, sprockets and tyres. Minor issues, after market exhaust lost a baffle, after market heated grips gave up, and extended screen cracked for having bag attached, amazing little bike,

Total now 18,000 miles, bought in December 2010 with 2,750 miles.

you've got me down as 43600 km....it's 43600 MILES mate :)

my stock bike has 36500km runs perfect except of some minor trouble with the tilt sensor.

My 2007 XTX has 46300 km on the clock now without any problem so far!! It still rocks!!:devil[1]:

April '09 XTZ 13,333 miles.

my Current bike a 56 plate has 12000 miles, the one before this was also a XTR.. it had 47000 miles on it,, i sold it to ma pal, hes still running it an it goes exceptionaly well...he has a world superbike ngk plug in it at a cost of �83....yes 83 bangers fur a plug..., Kev mod, an cans,, he has tweeked the bike...he said he saw 117mph a few days ago that swas a 06 XTR

I bought afk40's last bike which now has 48000 miles on 2006 XT660R.It had previously been on a round the world trip.

March '09 XTZ-------86,520 miles

But.....a main bearing failed at just over 61,000 miles. Had bearings, crankshaft assy, piston and rings all changed under warranty. Ignition switch was well worn so my dealer got that replaced as well - which required a new ECU (because of immobiliser system).
So I'm not sure if my mileage qualifies for any awards!
However, no problems with gearbox and bike still has original clutch and clutch & throttle cables.
Modified the reg/rectifier by digging out the moulded in socket and wiring in a fly lead with appropriate connectors and repotted.

99.5% on road use (but plenty of potholes, curb hopping, speedbump/humpback bridge jumping :unibrow: :eusa_naughty::warning1:)

97-99% business use :sad7:
but hey, I get paid for riding a brilliant bike:icon_cheers::sunny::icon_cheers::coolsmiley:

Wish I'd had that much work!!

Yep. Done Buenos Aires to Ushuaia to Alaska in 2 Months last year and have been touring N America now for 4 months today. Had posted this in the 'Tenere' section. Should post some phots I spose.

Being the anorak that I am, assuming 60mpg and going by recent prices, that would be about �3500 worth of fuel in the UK!!!


Easy E, to give greater kudos to Yamaha (and the relevent rider!) maybe the mileage should be for bikes that haven't had significant engine work???? Therefore, I'm disqualified!

2007 Aprilia Pegaso (same motor, i.e. not the Rotax), 77,700km from new. Mostly road miles, but some gravel. Running better than ever. New fuel pump (from a BMW F650) is all that's worth mentioning. PowerCommander made it run real sweet.
