I don't worry about the dust so much, since I can see if the filter is dirty and I clean it. But I do worry about the fog. Here, in the place I live, at winters and in the early morning hours there's a lot of fog that after a ride of about 15 km to go to work the fog liquefies and stays on the bike, and the air filter too. What should I do? Get rid of the stage 2 filter during withers? What do you do in these foggy situations?

Fog, rain etc. and DNA stage 2.

Hi there. I do get rid of my Stage 2 for the autumn and early winter time. In Finland that means a lot of rain and cold weather. I'm probably just paranoid and even after driving in heavy rain there is no water in my air box even with stage 2. I have to store my bike out in the open and I do notice that I have to add a bit of oil to the lower part of the filter every now and then. It seems that sun + rain does wear the oil out faster.

Oh, location Kavala, if that's Kavala Finland, then you already know about finnish autumn :) Nice surroundings for the Yamaha, I've a lot of my best trips around those areas. The endless amounts of gravel road there is just motorcycling heaven for me.

It's Kavala in Greece :icon_thumleft:...Although in Greece, it's in the north part of it with lot of cold, rain and fog in winter...So, I think replacing back the stock airfilter cover woulb be a wise solution during those days..
