Kris.....that will be a great build...
I don't suppose it will be long before someone does a 14:1 piston big build like this, which is now possible due to the Piasini Ecu, and moving the XT rev limiter.....and Dan at High Desert Dyno who built this engine for a Raptor. Again, look at where the Standard XT rev limiter would come in at 7200 revs http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/a...dragraptor.jpg |
really impressive work!!!
I just wonder what's next to come in this crazy forum!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! :blob10: |
awesome work, when u shift its gonna hit that much harder....+500 rpm = +500 rpm higher after the shift!
|
BTW the spring kit i sent in Richards head is good for 9k....
did they HAPPEN TO MAKE ANY CHANGES WITH TIMING? what was the cost? |

Fuel +3% from 1000 to 6000, and -2% from 7000 up to revlimiter Adjust revlimiter to my guess to 8000 Nothing else |
Ok, Kev, is that dyno result that you posted just an ECU swap, or was it after optimising the fuelling?
and was your baseline map fully optimised? |
Excellent work everyone.
Kev can you please highlight what are the maintenance care procedures which an owner with a remapped ECU with higher rev range must observe to protect the engine now that it will work a little harder. Thanks |
