I would love a Raptor 660 and 700 parts list, so we could put it in our Supporters club.

Any ideas?

my xt works @9000 rpm just fine with racing ecu now im waiting for my final raptor engine parts for the full party to begin:066:

In 2008 when I did my Raptor conversion I did look into the difference between the XT660 & Raptor wiring looms & ECU's it can be done very easily.

I could not find ant cheap ECU'S & looms so never carried out the conversion.

I did replace my whole wiring loom & ECU to remove my O2 sensor & used an earlier ECU with no O2 sensor, to gain full control of the fueling.

i read the conversion, NICE WORK!....
What is your current rpm limit?

having the additional rpm will open up a whole new world for these bikes as the head is a great starting piece and the motors will make peak power up to 8k easily if opened up with the right parts

7200 is all we can get lol

Steve_athens 08-09-10 12:01

the ecu is expensive and someone very experienced with dyno is needed to setup the ecu but you have a fully adjustable ecu which controls fuel, advance, air pressure you can even control in which temperature cooling starts absolutely every electric stuff on the bike and the most important you can set the rpm limit wherever you like

Does a fully adjustable replacement Ecu plug straight in to our XT660, and what needs doing to make it work correctly? Do we need any additional wiring?

What is the replacement ECU for? Can you post a link to the item?
