Back tyre size

Hi everyone.
Just bought a new tenere, just wanted to know can you fit a 140 on the back?
Ps any tenere owners in Sussex that know of any good green lanes apart from friston?
Many thanks.

Hi Richard I think the best route for us is Salisbury plane
I have been on a few websites and there is nothing longer than about 3 miles witch is ten second on the bike, but if I find something good I will give you a shout.

ok...did you see that recent thread on Salisbury? looks nice n easy...and very long! I'm up for that......need a route map....

matt2168 12-08-10 19:04

Route map!! I like your style.Did not see the thread on Salisbury but will look out for it there is only one question do we need nobblies for the place the last time I was in Salisbury the vehicles had tracks.

richardsracingmad 12-08-10 20:38

don't know about knobblies...i'm not ......when are we going then? shall we try for two more and start a thread for a ride out?

As for the previous thread to refer...its under Meetings, Ride outs etc....A Very Dry Dusty Salisbury....i have an XTR with standard road tyres...

matt2168 12-08-10 23:10

Why not let's do it who needs knobblies, but at the same time it does have to be fairly soon due to weather. I lived at the back of the plane for two year, and if there's been a lot of rain the only roads you can use are the main tracks.
That's why the army love the place summer dust bowl winter mud hole.
Is late September any good?
