Every single review on anything in the world is subjective...helmets are no different. As long as the tests are balanced and the parameters of the tests explained I'm sure people will find the results interesting.

This thread reminds me of the childish wind-up where you sing "I know a song that will get on your nerves, get on your nerves, get on your nerves. I know a song that will get on your ner......".

narrww, you're wrong, what would you know about it anyway? Bl00dy women :runaway:

Everyone knows the Aria are too heavy, too noisy, and that ruddy great sail at the front catches every bit of wind, vibrating you head like one of those Smash robots.......

Tour x too heavy - too heavy for what! It will last a three year RTW trip,
feel that extra few grams - that's quality that is.

Tour x too noisy - only at higher speeds on the road - get a road helmet if you spend most of the time on tarmac.

The bloody great spoiler - as above and you will be thankful of that spoiler when you have the sun beating down on you all day for weeks on end - if you ever get to do a big trip over seas. It does come off!

Arai plus points = Quality- D Ring strap-liner-the best vents-perfect for autocom instalation-shell material.

Bad points = Part of the GS riders uniform-Expensive. (Got two at Infinity for 590)
I didn't want an Arai but after testing a few lids it was the best helmet for our purpose.

If you want a **** Helmet, buy a Givi X01

I had a big accident and was luckily wearing an Arai proper competition helmet, (I forget the model name), in a car. I had to be cut out as the sides of the car where against my pelvis! The Arai probably saved my nut , I will never know, but I was glad I was wearing an Arai that day.

I had to bin the helmet, but later bought the same one again.

I swear by Arai.
