ARD cases and holan pannier racks
Just about to order some of these for the xt ,anybody got a set and if so what are they like ?

Very well made,sturdy and waterproof.
Take maybe 5 mins to put on. A great bit of kit at sensible money |
Ard Panniers
Just visited Roger at Ard over the holiday period and ordered my panniers there and then, great guy and great well made panniers, they were ready in a week and at a great price. Fitting mine to TT racks. Just got to get back to blighty to fit them!

Got my Ard Case panniers 2 weeks ago and finally had a run out with them on today.

The panniers stick out the same width as the handlebars which is perfect. I toook my rack to Roger and he did all the drilling and fitting for me at no extra cost, its worth doing that if you can get to him. Spoke to Roger today and will ride over for a chat and fit up in the next week or so, as I want to be sure everything's clear of the X Racing silencer etc..

Well I've been over to ARD twice now and today just missed another Ten' heading over for some new boxes (I did see a black Ten' on the way back, so perhaps that was you?).
My boxes are made and we wanted to check the rack cleared the single silencer etc etc - which it does. More racks on order and plan to have everything fitted in a few weeks. I would agree with all the positive comments, Roger is very helpful and offers a good product and service. Handy he's so close too.. Will post pic's when everything's on. |

I missed your post somehow!! Where are your pic's then? Back off to see Roger tomorrow to collect my boxes and rack. Have to collect my car from a bodyshop close by, so I'll take them home in the boot & fit them tomorrow night.. Pic's to follow. Sounds like he's doing a few Ten's as he's fitting up another Ten tomorrow too. |

Yes they will fit the tt ones as the holan frames that Roger sells are actually made by the same people as tt ,also you fit the mountig kit yourself and it is quite simple

Hi there
I have been trying to upload a picture of the rack but my computer will not let me .The racks should be the same as the Touratech (the hoop dimensions) so your boxes should fit ! The only problem would be the angle of the box in relation to the hoop . When you had them on your previous bike was the top of the box parralell to the hoop ? In my experience the top of the box on the Tenere is 3.5 inches above the top of the frame hoop .I can supply a rack for �160 +p/p . Kind regards Roger |

Nice Cases!
It is nice to see some high quality bespoke cases that will seriously challenge the others on the market. I wish I know of these before I shelled out for the full Touratech kit.

Hey guys.. It's taken me a while...and the pics are off my rubbish mobile but here are mine. The first pair actually fitted to a Ten by Roger himself..I think he may have a different mounting system since then? Thanks again. Absolutely brilliant!

There good panniers I remember the very first set he made and if I recall sold them on the GS site a few years ago. I see they are fancier now and certainly great quality. Im sure will see them around the world on my travels.

Hi ENDURO, yes they are as good as they look. Not sure about angled outside edge, but think i heard something about being to prevent damage if you fall off.Crusty

Very nice Crusty, now the big question how much, you can PM the anwser if you don't want it made public, the normal ones are 7 inches wide if I recall correctly

sorry for late reply but have been busy with this and that...... Panniers were �350 plus the cost of the rails. They have gone up a bit in price due to Rodger fitting locking clasps as standard now. Not sure if i paid more due to the extra width, i just told him what i wanted and he sorted it all out. VERY happy with them. Here are some pics of my latest boxes for Teneres .They are the same size at 8"wide 17"long 15" high .Lockable keyed alike catches .Fitting kit included .There is a price increase pending so grab yourself a bargain !!! |

Having now seen these panniers in the flesh I can thoroughly recommend them, quality is superb although I personally would have ones noy so wide. They crash well as well! Took a good hammering on a trail last weekend, a good product and a lot cheaper than my MM panniers.:smilies0119:
