Being desperate to find some bends after the motorways/autobahns on the Elefant & Tauerntreffen trips, I Think I got a little over enthusiastic on the way back home and scraped something on a left hander somewhere near Evesham!

I haven't had a good look yet but I think it was either a footpeg or the side stand. Likely to be a combination of having had the Ten lowered by 50mm and all the luggage (and my weight!).

I took it a little easier after this!

Cracking Dragon. Couldn't have asked for better weather and the venue was spot on.

Don't worry, I'm sure my gingerness will be about to haunt your horizon soon enough. Been referred to hospital for tests so fingers crossed. Just so bloody mad it was this weekend that it went off.

Hopefully will see in the lake districs sometime Tom, when the weather gets better....
Glad you got home safe Simon. After the all the miles you have done in the last couple of weeks, it would have been a shame to drop it on the way home from the Dragon...
After our stop at the garage for breakfast/lunch, we went round a roundabout that was damp and i had this chicken strip thing in my head and lost my front wheel but didnt drop it, needed to change my pants tho.. Also took it easy after that.

Blimey - Where's the Ten' gone?

theclowncrusty 15-02-10 16:26

I am a great beleiver in "you never know...." but when you are my size evreything get that bit bigger and it all adds up. I will be the first TEN with 10inch wide ARD cases soon so it all should fit on a bit neater. A lot of the stuff is light but bulky, tarp, air bed and such. Plus there is a LOT of me to squeeze on there as well. Have washed the bike for the first time in 2 months today, came up great under all that ****e... Scottoiler 365 anti corrosion stuff seems to be doing the job. Will be at Cropton the weekend so may see some of you there......
