Sealskinz
With autumn turning up and winter on it's way I thought people might be interested in these. Pricey but I think the socks are well worth it. Very warn and if your boots do let in if it's raining on a long journey then they are waterproof as well. Perhaps one for the Christmas list.
The merino liner gloves are a good buy as well. http://www.sealskinz.com/ |
very good product I used them when mountain biking in the winter in the Devon moors

Perfect recipe for happy safe feet: 1 x pair of long boot socks 1 x pair of Sealskins (long) 1 x pair of Alpinestars Tech 3's w/All Terrain Sole (bought from MX shop for 50 cos they had one broken/missing buckle strap but otherwise perfect:026:) |
yea sealskinz are great as long as the water isnt over the top of them , then they act like a wet suit except the water doesnt drain out .
2wks solid wet feet aint good ,trenchfoot was very close. |
Try searching for mvp socks on ebay ,army issue and are much cheaper and better than sealskinz, remeber i live in wales and it is always wet around here so do have some knowlege of these things :rotf[1]:
