Sealskinz

With autumn turning up and winter on it's way I thought people might be interested in these. Pricey but I think the socks are well worth it. Very warn and if your boots do let in if it's raining on a long journey then they are waterproof as well. Perhaps one for the Christmas list.

The merino liner gloves are a good buy as well.

+1!! They're brilliant. I wear them all day when required (I'm a courier) and wouldn't be without them.

Perfect recipe for happy safe feet:

1 x pair of long boot socks
1 x pair of Sealskins (long)
1 x pair of Alpinestars Tech 3's w/All Terrain Sole (bought from MX shop for 50 cos they had one broken/missing buckle strap but otherwise perfect:026:)

yea sealskinz are great as long as the water isnt over the top of them , then they act like a wet suit except the water doesnt drain out .
2wks solid wet feet aint good ,trenchfoot was very close.

+1 I have used Goretex army socks for green laning (many deep water crossings and many very wet days riding)and road riding and they are fantastic and cheap
For laning in all weather the Goretex camo jacket and trousers are fantasic, you look abit like rambo but it keeps you dry and warm

http://www.springfields.co.uk/ or e bay (cheaper on e bay)
