I once cut and shut a Motad Can for an FZR1000 to fit a KTM 640Duke.
Reckon a uncorked KTM LC4 enduro can would be a likely candidate for similar treatment to fit the tenere, and as the engine size/HP is similar it wouldnt be restrictive , though the ktm logo would have to be erased.

could you post pics please?

Well the can has been fitted yesterday .much much better performance, especially much more torque.
Youll get to see 7k rpm at a glance on the highway, and less gear changing when in city traffic

The sound is much more better and a little bit louder, but no dramas with the neighbors

That looks good Andy. I just ordered OTR pannier frames and I''m about to order X-Racing silencer as well. Any ideas if it will fit with the frames as it is or do I have to modify it?

How come it's so cheap compared to other brands? Is there anything "wrong" with it?

Hi there....

As far as i can see from the photos at OTR's site , you will not have any problems fitting the X-racing.You remove the originals , you put on the new one and that's it.

I have the X-racing on my Ten for almost 3 weeks now, no problems till now at all.
Its a little bit louder , and you will have more bangs and booms.....but it will be like riding another bike....:headbang:

As far as i know its the second single system on the market...till now OTR had the monopole , so they could price their system as high as they wanted to.....and no I'm not an X-racing employee or something like that....:hello:

Does the silencer get hot to touch, would it burn soft lugauge if it rested on it, unlike the standard ones which have a plastic shield over them.
