I go 15 miles each way to work through london, but when im out playing, i might be on the wrong side of the 70mph mark, which is where the wind noise comes in :101:

I would echo what zOU has said - I've had both the Tour-x2 and now the Tour-x3 (still got the x2 for more mucky trail riding) - ridden with both for tens of thousands of miles and I find them excellent helmets, very comfortable and well made (certainly none of these visor/peak issues - what are you guys doing with them?!)
I agree they are noiser than a road helmet, but having not tried the Shoei Hornet or Airoh S4 I can't compare with other peaked designs... Personally I'd rather look like an Imperial Stormtrooper than a Terrahawk... but then I'm fickle like that x xxx |
I had my TourX 2 for about 4 years now-stirling service! Its now on its third visor (only use genuine Arai) now with Pinlocks plus bought the inner pinlock visor insert and its tranformed riding in these cold and damp weather conditions. Double glazing for visors! Now when you breathe it just does not mist up anymore and I keep the visor securely fastened down all the time now whereas before I kept lifting it a little to try and keep it mist free.
What a brilliant invention-only wish I had discovered it earlier. A real safety improvement! |
