Hi!

i just bought a K&N filter and DNA filterbox. Do i need a powercommander to make the bike not "blow up"?

Please read Kev's mod listings and you will find all your answers but in short, a Power Commander or a Kev Mod will help enhance performance and allow those 2 filters to work to their intended purpose.

So it wont skrew up the mixture of air and fuel to the engine to just have the filters?

gonna buy a power commander in a while, but need the funds to buy it first

Your bike will run lean and a fueling device is advised.

It is recommended you run a fulling device, to get the full gain out of the mods & get the Air/Fuel ratio correct.

The bike will run lean with both filters, we do not have any reports of anyone damaging their motors when running the 2 filters only.
