FINAL COMMENTS ON TYRES PERFORMANCE: initially very good grip and superprising lean angles from a tall bike on skinny tyres.
Both tyres now look like they have plenty of tread left (5mm front and rear) but if you look closely the front is triangular and the back is square. Both have now worn to the point where they track badly over lines etc on the road and cornering is much poorer than it used to be as the bike feels like its tiping into the corner and you have to fight to pull it straight again (like youve got a 10 inch wheel fitted !)
Ive ridden these tyres hard since getting the bike and was expecting a bit more mileage out of them but they are affecting the handling badly now so I am going to change them for some Dunlop Trailmax for the winter (very filthy roads where I live.) Will revert to a road biased tyre for next summer.
