Hard Luggage

A mate of mine has started producing Metal Panniers and top boxes. They're the same dimensions as the Zega stuff but considerable cheaper yet with thicker metal.

Check out his site if you're interested:

I think they come with which ever puk is needed for your racks (H&B, Givi etc.) I saw some the other week and they're proper solid and really well made, either silver or powder coated and I believe they can make bespoke changes as per your requirements.

Wow they look the business.

MC why don't you tell him he can advertize his products here for free. i.e. we can give him a banner spot on the forum only if he is willing to provide a discount for the forum members, anything from 10% up to 15%.

See what he says.

Ah! Just spoke to my mate and it seems they're having a slight problem at the production end. He thinks it is temporary but nevertheless for the time being they're unable to knock any new stock out.

I'm sure that as soon as they're back up and running something could be sorted in terms of a member discount though. I'll update you as and when I hear any developments (I must admit that I am sorely tempted by these boxes though)

Seem like good enough panniers, and even look better than the zega ones and prices are way better than TT stuff, but i still think at the moment i would go with H&B for my panniers. I plan on doing some harsh off roading in africa and if anything i wanna make sure my kit (food) and cooker (for food) are all ok and not damaged etc. Still very nice panniers.
