After I saw the new Tenere 700 had to much weight I decided to invest on my XT 660 R and improve everything I thought it really needed a change.

The things I have done on it is:

Rear wheel 18''
Front fork kayaba YZ 450 48mm 2012
Suspension TFX Type 141
Excel rim and Haan hub and spokes for front wheel (2kg lighter not as its a YZ450 wheel)
Arrow exhaust( same as KTM 690R enduro)
Fuel tank and seat modified to make it a little bit more flat for a better enduro riding
Skid plate

And a very good thing is that now it's 32cm ground clearance instead of 22cm and now its weight is about 170kg with all the liquids.

Now I have a bike with which I'm very happy and I can wait without a rush for the next Tenere with less kg.
