Air Filter
Hi there, looking for some advice here. I have a 2012 660z with a power commander fitted, I am still running with original exhausts. I will be doing an oil and filter change soon. Should I change to a different air filter such as K&N?

You could use a better flowing filter like a DNA one...BUT is the power commander not set up for the original air filter?..

Yes I guess the pc will be set for the stock air filter. I only had the pc fitted in March and the mechanic said that to change to a different air filter might help improve the fuelling even more.

Power Commander on a stock bike!! Jeez thats a strange one,you need aftermarket exhaust and filter little point in having a PC if you dont.

![]() ![]() If you change the OEM filters for a Dna stage 1 and 2 you will need your Power Commander to be mapped for these filters. New aftermarket cans are recommended or it will be little difference in overall performance. |
