Sloppy DNA air filter

Just wondering how tight a fit (if at all) people's DNA air filter is, with stage 2 ring on top, in their air box.
I've checked the part no's and they match up. Once the filter is in with the stage 2 screwed down the air filter itself can be 'slid' around a bit? There are 4 small lugs around the top of it to take up a bit of slack but the base of the filter is about 4-5 mm smaller than the circular part of the air box allowing it to move around. Not ideal if the bikes bouncing around. The stock filter is a tight fit at the base.

Hi Desert Racer, I'm away from my bike right now. ...I'll check it first thing tomorrow. From memory my DNA filter is a pretty secure fit. Steve

Cheers Steve, I've put the foam one back in as I'm not trusting the DNA for the time being. In the photo the foam filter is upside down to show the difference in size of the bases of the filters back to back.
I was in the process of 'packing' the slack fit with a boot lace around the bottom but then thought better of it with visions of it getting sucked into the motor!!
