Having proved that the out put to the feul injector is faulty, I now need to get my ECU repaired. Has anyone had anECU fixed, or does anyone know anyone who can repair it?
I don't think the bike is worth spending more that �700 to replace it so if it's not repairable I'll probably be selling the bike as a non runner or for spares. Form a queue !

Unfortunately neither is for a Tenere, so they aren't any good. There is one for sale on Ebay but it's �400 and I'm not willing to cough that sort of money for a s/h one with no guarantee.

I have now found a place that claim to be able to repair the ECU, so I'll wait and see what they say. It's a simple fix it it's possible to open the ECU and get the silicone off it. The output triac that runs the Fuel injector is burned out.

You will need to over ride the immobilizer to use tis ECU on your bike.

I know. They are synched with the red key. Thats why I'm not happy to cough �400 for somethingg that isn't going to work without a load of pissing about and may not work in the end.
