Usd form conversion

Right,I have decided to start collecting bits for the fork conversion , just not sure which way to go yz or wr or even wp?..any ideas or advice from people that have done it will be greatly appreciated?..jo

i have a set of Showa's from a CR250 in my XTR... easy conversion just had to
change the top bearing & mod the steering stops..
and a couple weeks ago I put a YZF250 front end in my TTR250..

I have the KLX(R?) 650 on mine, lower it and it transform the bike to be really stable

WP conversion for me. Its a bit of a pain to be honest. I have 640 sm forks ( as they stiffer springs and higher damping setup as standard) and are shorter travel at 265mm , exc yokes and left fork bottom/brake mount. The yokes have too be post 2011 then the steerer is metric where it fits into the yoke. But still has a metric bearing. you can then use the steerer from the tenere and make a top hat spacer too take up the space between the steerer and top yoke. Lots of homework but makes an incredible difference
