Post Low fuel light circuit

Hi all, first time poster
Currently have installed a trial tech vapour custom speedo/dash surround and am wiring up the appropriate warning lights, have it all sorted bar the low level fuel light.
The fuel level sensor I believe is a thermistor type sensor that when immersed in fuel is cooled and the resistance across the sensor decreases.
I have removed the fuel pump assembly that has the thermistor on it and taken measurements both in fuel and out (1.8-1.9k ohms immersed in fuel and 2-2.1k ohms when free standing)

Has anyone done anything similar on there bike or anyone know what components I will need to build this circuit to bring the fuel light LED on when the fuel level is low ?
Know my way around 12v electrical normally but this has really got me beat, cheers for any help, Ben.
