YSS Shocks?
Does anybody have experience with YSS shocks? mine has done 30k so about finished off now and I've been looking at my options.
I have seen a few RTW write ups where they've used the YSS but none have gone into great detail about how they got on. Looking at the shock it does seem about on par with Hagon http://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/yam...sorber-04.html |

All I know about YSS shocks is that they are cheap, made in Thailand and the company has links with KTM/WP and apparently share an R&D team.

The YSS look like a bargain to me.

In same boat. Not enough info about YSS.
PS Nethen, member, wrote that he is satisfied with YSS. http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=20919&page=3 Last edited by cca; 05-10-16 at 20:33. |

side by side the YSS looks better quality than the Hagon. I think there was only 20 difference between the 2. I've only used hagon in the past and didn't get on with it personally.

the guy had a Hagon in bits... the diffrents between that and a WP he also had in bits was night & day... Hagon had no seal just a Oring on the floating separater to keep the oil and gas apart... the finish on the valve piston body.. WP was polished the Hagon was just as it came off the machine that made it... still a good finish but not polished.. just the little things that make the diffrents... .
