Tyre damage
I see that my 140/80 tubed tyre has a 1.5 cm cut though the tread, down to the nylon thread. Should I replace it?

 Whilst on the subject of cracking tyres...is it normal for tyres to go like this....? I noticed the tyre was too hot to touch after a long run....Steve
