Big vibes

I removed the standard bar ends from the handlebars to fit a set of bark busters on my R. Quite an easy job of course, but, I think the vibration through the handle bars has grown considerably. Anyone else noticed this ?

Smile Vibration

Removing the bar end weights increased the vibration on my ten . I reduced this by fitting bar end weights from adventure spec which fit bark busters if your bars are 20mmm by 10mm they wil fit.

Barkbusters also do additional bar end weights that fit on the very end. I fitted them to my Ten & can see things clearly in the mirrors. There is somewhere on here about brass inserts inside the bar ends as extra weight, also people have been known to fill their bars with silicone?

Without bar end weights the vibrations are very annoying however should you wish to remove the ends you can fill the bar itself with sand. Does a magic job. sand and weights even better. Another option SW motech flex bar, has campers which absorb most of the vibrations.
Hope this helps

I can't fill the bars as they are the factory ones and sealed at the ends, just with a threaded hole.
I think I'll have to just re fit the weights
