Glowing red header pipes

Hi guys,
Hope someone can help...
I have the 2009 xt660x with the following mods:
Pipewerx end cans.
KN air filter,
Kev fuel mod + o2 controller,
Modded air box ie holes drilled.
Bike was running fine until I decide to add these mods:
Off the road racing head pipe,
Stage 2 dna air box cover and ngk iridium cr7ix spark plug.
Now when I start the bike the header pipes glow red after a minute or 2.
Not being too mechanically minded I'm unsure of how to rectify this.....
Please may someone help too explain to me the problem in not to technical
terms (lol) and solve my problem....
Many thanks ......

Mine will do that if I let it sit and idle for to long
with out any air passing the pipes to cool them..

But it wouldn't hurt to check if it's not running to lean...
I set my kevs mod at about 6 O'clock any less that that
I can notice the engine temp rising...
