Phillips H7 55w +130% bulbs

Has anyone fitted these bulbs to their Tenere? I'm considering buying a set as a cheaper alternative to a set of spot lights from Adventure Spec.
Do they increase the peformance and if so by how much?

I tried the plus 120ish ones and found they were brighter but nothing compares to my Aurora LED light bar. Unfortunately the high intensity globes dont last very long and combined with vibrations I find their cost v lifespan unacceptable.

Phillips H7 55w +130% bulbs

I've fittet them 2 years ago - they are still working fine. The reason to fit them was my light-protection, that "eats" some of the light - with the Philips ones the light is still brighter than the orig bulbs clean shining.

But external spots are still much more powerful. Will mount also external ones over this winter at my 660z to get more light.

Brilliant! I have these on my Ten but didn't know what they are. Previous owner added them and they do the job.

Thumbs up Headlight improvement

I recently fitted a Narva "intense maximum legal blue" H7 for high beam. Only 55W but hell of a difference from the standard H7. $26 from a local supplier, $13 cheaper than the parts supplier who advertises extra low prices!
Will probably fit one to low beam as well.

Smile

I brought the vision x spots from adventure spec, I know they are expensive but I can't fault them in any way, have standard one on all the time and a spot that's on with the full beam, definitely a thumbs up for my visibility at night, and super tough build quality. But as we all know set up is a personal thing, and that's what makes all our bikes interesting!..

How did you wire both the visionX lights in Jo? Connected to the main and dip beam rocker switch or wired to a separate switch?

Hi, wired the one that I use as a daytime running light into the rear tail light(of course that one is tilted down slightly as not blind drivers coming over way) it draws a very low ampage so doesn't effect the tail light. The main spot I just wired into the full beam , I get a lovely spread on normal and quite amazing on full beam..
