XTR high front mudgaurd.

I'm looking to make this mod shortly but had a few questions as I could only find posts for the XTZ.

1) is it ok to use any generic mudgaurd?
2) how did you keep the brake cable in place?
3) how was the fit with the radiator, did it need much altering?

cheers

Hi,
I just fitted a replacement front mudguard to my XT660R. It's the generic Ascerbis one, and just needed the back trimmed off and a couple of the mounting holes enlarged.
Good colour match and looks fine.

Scott.
