Outside diameter of XT660z side stand

Bizarre request of the day.............

Can someone who is near their Tenere (I'm 70 miles away from mine) please tell me the outside diameter of the side stand?

Metric or imperial, not fussed as I'm ambidextrous.

I'm formulating a plan to mod the side stand to give me some adjustment on it for various scenarios e.g. bike only through to fully loaded with luggage and kitchen sink.

Many thanks.

Sandman.

25.45mm checked with micrometer screw gauge.

Probably work on 25mm. I'm assuming (if I'm lucky) that there might be a 0.225mm thick layer of paint!

Steady Pete, I dont think Yamaha "wasted" as much paint as that on the stands!!!!

"25.45mm".... as accurate as ever with your posts, many thanks. I can go have a think now and doodle a bit. I fancy a threaded adjustable side stand and just happen to have a donor one in the garage to cut'n'shut. Hopefully it will adjust for different luggage loads and different tyres/sizes and the lowering links I am going to try.
