High bars

Has anybody fitted renthal high handlebars to there tenere and if so what problems were encountered? Thinking of fitting them instead of bar risers! Cheers

Yes, fitted the highest bend I could get.
Which was so long ago I can't remember what it was.
I trimmed 15mm from either end of the bars to allow the throttle cables to work without being stretched.
You won't be able to use the OE bar end weights but I didn't notice any real difference.
You will be able to fit a huge range of aftermarket handguards.

Edit- Renthal 613 Enduro high, try B and C Express.

Thanks for reply tripletom, how much higher than standard are they? Looking at renthals specs the options are 110, 119 or 130mm rise depending on bars. Trying to work out what would suit me best?

I'm 6'2" and found the standard bars too low for sitting and definitely too low for standing.
Spot on for me, and others have used the same.
