Rear undertray.

Hello all again, Recently fitted a single can on my Tenere, all good, but since the removal of the original can, I didn't notice it has left about an inch gap the width of the seat exposed, so when taking the seat off the other day, all the mud spray etc is working its way over the battery and fuses, could make something up out of plastic to deflect said debris, but just wandering if anyone else has had this issue?

Yeah, same for me.

I just cut a bit of cardboard to fit, covered it in gaffa tape and stuck it in as a temporary fix.

I know others have made them out of plastic box lids and so on.

That's what you've got to do. Ice cream tub lids work well, but if you want to be really flash, then aluminium sheet is the most satisfying solution. Whatever you choose to use though, a bead of black silicone frame sealant around the edge is required to keep things totally dry and clean under the seat.
