Brakes, master cylinder
Hi!
I've got the Tenere 2011 and I'm doing all the maintenance myselfe. The service manual states that the internal components of the master brake cylinder should be replaced every second year. Is this something you guys do? Seems to me that's quite often. Don't you think? Cheers |

I have never heard of that.
![]() Are you sure it's not just the fluid that needs changing? That would make a lot more sense - and it's what i do myself.

i've done it before on other bikes, it's a easy enough job but honestly i wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a bit suspect, i've had bikes 10yrs old that didn't need it touching.
i'd go with the previous comment and just put some fresh brake fluid in it. |
