hi all I have a 2004 xtx with remus cans (on there when I bought it) but surges bad at low speeds kev informed me that it was due a recall years ago so Yamaha have done the recall work but still the same im wondering will kevs fuel mod make it better .....thank you

Yes. A Kev mod will indeed make your ride much smoother and more surge free, but don't expect a 100% cure.

Kev's mod works very well and is worth it, check your chain and cush rubbers too, and do the cush drive mod too, these also help.

Kevs mod made my bike quicker it did nothing for the surging it took a PC to have any effect on that.

A lot if clutch work and the surging is gone its all about how you ride really

The fuel mod is great value for money but it's no PC having had both and ridden the bike exactly the same way I'll take a PC every time but if I couldn't afford one I'd settle for a fuel mod.
