Got a few trackdays coming up, already done 8 this year, but for one of them I'm planning on taking the XT660X, just for the laughs really.

I don't really seeing a post of anyone putting theirs on track... would I be the first ?

Heavy in what sense ? it's lighter than my gsxr750k7... although admittedly with less power

I'll be taking to Cadwell, which will suit more than Silverstone for example.

Im used too enduro bikes so any bike heavy to me really still my first road bike the xt i used to greenlane mainly i was thinking about a drz sm for trackdays

Apart from 3 sisters/Rowrah you'd find the DRZ too slow I rekon.

two weeks ago I enjoyed watching a KTM 450 beating most of the sports bikes on the twisty bits of Blyton motor park. They past him back on the staights but he was having a ball. he did have some serious tyres fitted so I think you will ejoy the day.
