heated handlebar grips

Hi All
Fingers are begining to feel the cold and I wondered if anyone had fitted heated grips to an XTX and if so what would they recommend?

I've got a set off Oxford grips, plus bark busters, plus a pair of Oxford mittins, does the job for me.

I fitted the Oxford Premium Touring heated grips to my XTX, they get nice and hot, and easy to fit.

I've had a set of these on my three previous bikes.

My only issue is that if the connections between the grip and control unit are allowed to bash around inside the dash/fairing, you made end up having to replace the plastic connectors as the wires break free from the soldered joints.

Tape them up with heat shrink from the start and you'll be fine.

Same probably goes for the majority of grip systems!

Oxford grips with the new type controler and wire it up via a 30 amp switched relay
