GYTR slip-ons

A few years back - before I had my own XT660 - a mate had a XTX with GYTR exhausts. I remember them well because we talked about what a nice sound they made... not crazy loud but good and throaty.

Anyway, I've looked through the forum but can't seem to find any info on the GYTR exhausts. Doesn't seem like anyone runs them and I wonder why? Is it just because they are too expensive (i.e. Aus$985 for the set) when there are cheaper options out there? I really like the look of them, and the sound from memory (I don't want anything crazy loud because of where I live), and Yamaha claim improved performance from them (weight saving too I'd reckon).

I'd be interested to hear feedback from anyone running these cans.
Cheers!
