ways to higher bars

hi

I finally got around to fitting my renthal Dakar high bars, then went on a 1850 mile trip to the lot regoin in France. i love them...!

its always a balance between comfort for standing and for sitting. and its nearly right with these Dakar bars.

when standing they feel a tiny...tiny...but too low. i used to use shim stack style risers. the smallest combo you can have using these is 20mm.

but 20mm will be too high! i was thinking more 10mm.....13mm tops!! it might seem silly quibbling over such small amounts but when spending all day up on the pegs...or all day in the saddle...you notice it!!!

so what else can i do? i thought about taking the bar clamps off the yoke and putting in a shim...but the thread aint long enough.

What about changing the bar mounts to some after market ones?

What ever happens i think i will send the throttle to cables to Venhill to be made....50mm (ish) longer. there ok at the mo but are a little tight.

Ideas on a postcode
